The Philadelphia Parking Authority approved a surcharge to reflect the increase in the cost of gasoline on October 24, 2005. The "Flag drop" on meter trips is now $2.70 .The flat rate between the airport and center city is now $26.25.Flag throw (when you get in) $2.70
